The Sky Sentinels were a Codex-compliant Loyalist Space Marine Chapter of unknown founding and origin, tragically annihilated during the 13th Black Crusade. Their homeworld, Pranagar, was overrun by Magnus the Red and the Thousand Sons, leading to the Chapter’s complete destruction.

The Sky Sentinels were known for their disciplined battlefield conduct and strategic restraint. One of their most notable campaigns was the Pandemonium of Sondheim V, where they prepared to enact Exterminatus on a Chaos-corrupted world infested by Tyranids. They delayed the strike at the request of the Grey Knights, who sought to recover the Book of Pandegaras, a powerful Chaos artifact. After a brutal three-way battle between Tyranids, daemons, and Grey Knights, the Sky Sentinels resumed orbital bombardment and destroyed the planet. In accordance with Inquisition protocol, they submitted to a mind-wipe to erase exposure to the worst horrors of Chaos.

During the 13th Black Crusade, the Chapter recalled all its forces to defend Pranagar, but the scale of the Chaos invasion proved overwhelming. The Sky Sentinels were wiped out to the last man, and their world was claimed by Magnus as part of his growing domain. Their legacy lives on through records and the valor of warriors like Brother Nazartheth, a Deathwatch Assault Marine remembered for his heroic defense of Watch Station Midael.
