Judicar Zakoror (Dark Angels)

Personality
[edit | edit source]Zakaror embodies the grim silence of the Judicar. His presence is commanding, not through speech but through the weight of his gaze and the finality of his actions. He is a figure of quiet dread, moving with purpose and precision. Though he does not speak, his silence communicates volumes — condemnation, resolve, and the unyielding will of the Emperor. Among his peers, he is respected as a living embodiment of judgment, feared by enemies and revered by those who understand the burden he carries.
Background
[edit | edit source]Originally from Piscina V, Zakaror was inducted into the Dark Angels after demonstrating exceptional martial prowess and spiritual discipline. His early years were spent in the 5th Company, where he showed a natural affinity for doctrinal purity and ritual combat. Chosen for the path of the Chaplaincy, he was appointed as a Judicar — a role that demands silence, impartiality, and the execution of battlefield justice. His secondment to the Deathwatch is both a trial and a crucible, testing his resolve against the galaxy’s most insidious xenos threats.
Missions Before Joining the Deathwatch
[edit | edit source]- Siege of Virex Gate: Held the line for 36 hours against Chaos renegades, his silence unnerving even the most fanatical foes.
- The Silent Hunt: A classified operation involving the capture of a Fallen. Zakaror’s role remains sealed by the Inner Circle.
- Cleansing of Gethsemane’s Reach: Zakaror led a strike force against a Genestealer cult, executing the patriarch beneath the cathedral ruins. The experience learned on Gethsemane's Reach led to him being seconded to the Deathwatch to share some of this experience
Missions Since Joining the Deathwatch
[edit | edit source]- Operation Black Maw: Was part of a kill-team into a Necron tomb complex under a Mechanicus sub-factory. His execution of a corrupted Watch-Sergeant earned him the title “Blade of Final Judgment.”
- Purge of Kharon’s Hollow: Uncovered a Tyranid synapse node within a derelict Mechanicus facility. His silent presence before battle was said to steel the hearts of even the most hardened Astartes.
- Shroud Protocol: Retrieved a xenos artifact from an Eldar craftworld fragment. His refusal to engage in diplomacy with alien allies led to a tense standoff, resolved only by his unwavering stance and the authority of his silence.
