== Background ==
Raised among the cliff tribes of Asaheim, Bjorn earned his name during his initiation trial when he slew a frost-wyrm with nothing but a broken spear and a stubborn refusal to die. He was inducted into the Blackmane Great Company under Ragnar Blackmane, where his natural charisma and shieldwork made him a favorite among the younger Blood Claws.

Bjorn’s preference for sword and shield over the traditional axes of his kin earned him some teasing—until he used them to hold a breach against a tide of Orks for six hours. When the Deathwatch called for warriors with both grit and presence, Ragnar sent Bjorn with a grin and a warning: “Try not to talk the xenos to death before you burn them.”
